We make OfferBee, which is the closest alternative on this list, so read our section with that in mind. We've been specific about what CardStack does better. Verified against live sites on 2026-09-08.

Why people look for a CardStack alternative
CardStack is a good product aimed squarely at the right problem, so the reasons to leave are narrow and specific.
1. You're on Android. This is the big one, and it isn't a matter of interpretation. CardStack's own feature comparison table lists Android as unsupported. If you switched from iPhone or you're shopping for a partner on a Pixel, CardStack is off the table entirely.
2. The free tier stops exactly where the value starts. Free CardStack lets you add cards and tick credits off by hand. Automatic detection, the reason to use a credit tracker rather than a spreadsheet, is CardStack+ only. That's a defensible business decision, and it also means the free tier doesn't demonstrate the product.
3. $89.99/yr, and $12.99/mo if you don't commit annually. Monthly is the most expensive per-month price in the category.
4. The 100+ card catalog. Broad enough for most premium wallets, but a credit union card or a less common co-brand may not be in it.
What CardStack is genuinely good at
- Automatic credit detection actually works, and the notifications are the right ones. "Credit available", "expires in 3 days", "$15 Uber Cash marked used for March from your statement", "annual fee just posted. Is it worth keeping?". That last one is the whole job of a credit tracker, delivered at the moment it matters.
- Effective annual fee calculation. Fee minus credits actually captured. Few tools compute it and it's the number that should drive keep-or-cancel.
- Browser extensions with Amex and Chase offer activation. Credits and offers in one product; most apps here pick one.
- They publish an honest competitive roundup that names their own gaps. That's rarer than it should be.
If you're on an iPhone, want offers and credits in one app, and $89.99/yr is fine, staying put is a defensible answer.
The alternatives
1. OfferBee: the same job, plus Android
What it does best. Automatic statement-credit detection from Plaid transaction data, reminders before a credit resets rather than after, and a fee-vs-value verdict at each annual renewal built from what you actually captured. Functionally this is the same product category CardStack is in.
Platforms. iOS and Android. For a CardStack user this is usually the entire reason to look.
Price. $9.99/mo or $80/yr on offerbee.ai, about $10/yr cheaper than CardStack+ annually and $3/mo cheaper monthly. Worth stating plainly, since this is a price comparison: CardStack sells only through the App Store, so $89.99 is its single price, while OfferBee has two rails and the App Store one is $104.99/yr. The $80 is real and available to anyone, but it is a website checkout rather than one tap; the app shows both and marks the cheaper. 14-day trial, no card required, which is a longer look than CardStack's 7 days.
Free tier shape. Different from CardStack's, and worth understanding precisely. There's no permanently-free entry plan; instead, after the 14-day trial ends, manual credit tracking on the cards already in your wallet stays free forever: logging a credit used, clearing a period, backfilling a past month, snoozing. Adding a new card needs Pro. So CardStack's free tier is better for someone still building a wallet; OfferBee's is better for someone who wants to keep a maintained ledger after lapsing.
Also. Location-based best-card suggestions, and Bee, an assistant that answers questions about your own wallet and spending in plain language.
Best for. Android users who want what CardStack does. iPhone users who want the same thing slightly cheaper with a longer trial.
Limitations. No browser extension, so no online-checkout flow and no Amex/Chase offer activation. CardStack beats us outright there, and if that's why you subscribed, we don't replace it. CardStack's effective-annual-fee math is more explicitly presented than our verdict. We're the younger product.
2. CardPointers: the no-bank-login route
What it does best. Adds offers across six issuers (Amex, Chase, Bank of America, Citi, Wells Fargo, US Bank), without your logins or purchase history. AutoPilot surfaces the best card for your location on the lock screen.
Price. $90/yr; free tier limited to one card of each type.
Best for. Someone who wants CardStack's offer half without any financial connection.
Limitations. No transaction data means no automatic credit detection; you'd be trading away the exact feature that makes CardStack worth paying for. More expensive than CardStack+.
3. MaxRewards: Android, and better offer activation
What it does best. Automatically activating Amex Offers, Chase Offers and Discover Deals. Discover coverage is unusual.
Platforms. iOS and Android.
Price. Free tier; Gold reported at $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr (third-party figure; their own pricing page 404s).
Best for. An Android user whose leak is unactivated offers rather than unused credits.
Limitations. Credit tracking is limited and there's no effective-annual-fee calculation. Auto-activation requires bank login credentials.
4. WalletFlo: the bonus tracker
What it does best. Sign-up bonus deadlines and progress; annual-fee prompts with retention scripts.
Price. Free tier is one linked card; Pro is $100 the first year then $230/yr, 2.5× CardStack+.
Best for. Churners opening several cards a year.
Limitations. iOS only, so it doesn't solve the main reason to leave CardStack. Price.
5. Pointer AI: free, and no connection at all
What it does best. Best-card by store with no bank connection; cards added by name. Free tier includes unlimited cards and a full perks tracker.
Price. Free; Premium $4.99/mo.
Best for. Someone who wants a perks list without paying or connecting anything.
Limitations. iOS only. Android is a waitlist, so this does not solve the platform problem. Without transaction data it can't confirm a credit was used.

How to choose
- On Android? The decision is made for you. CardStack doesn't ship there. OfferBee is the direct functional replacement; MaxRewards is the option if offers matter more than credits.
- On iOS and leaving over price? OfferBee is $80/yr against $89.99, with a 14-day trial against 7. That's a real but modest gap; it shouldn't be the whole reason to switch a working setup.
- Leaving because the free tier felt like a demo? Every serious credit tracker gates automatic detection. Pointer AI's free tier is the most generous, but it tracks perks without confirming usage, which is a different product.
- Don't switch away from offer activation by accident. If you use CardStack's extension for Amex and Chase offers, note that OfferBee doesn't have that at all. CardPointers or MaxRewards cover it; running two apps is a legitimate answer.
Prices in the tables above are each app's cheapest available annual price. For OfferBee that is the offerbee.ai rail ($80/yr); the App Store rail is $104.99/yr and the app presents both.
