The Best Apps to Track Credit Card Statement Credits (2026)
Most credit card apps optimise offers. Only a few actually confirm you used the statement credits you already paid for. Eight apps ranked on automatic detection, reminders, platforms and price.
We make OfferBee, one of the apps below. We've listed what it doesn't do alongside what it does, and named the apps that beat it. Verified against live sites on 2026-09-08.
There are a lot of credit card apps. Almost all of them are answering a question you probably didn't come here to ask.
The common job, "which card should I swipe?", is well served. A dozen apps do it, several do it free, and the money involved is real but conditional on where you shop.
The rarer job, "did I actually use the credits I already paid for?", is where premium cardholders lose money, and far fewer apps do it. An Amex Platinum's $895 annual fee buys a fixed stack of credits on fixed reset dates: monthly Uber Cash, quarterly this, semi-annual that, an annual airline fee credit. Miss the $15 monthly credit four times and that's $60 you already paid for and didn't collect. It requires no shopping behaviour, just a calendar you can't hold in your head.
This page ranks apps on the second job.

What "automatic detection" actually requires
Worth being precise, because the marketing language in this category blurs it.
A perks list is a static description of what your card offers. Every app here has one. It is not tracking.
A reminder fires on a date. Better, but it fires whether or not you already used the credit, so it either nags you about something you've done or, worse, trains you to ignore it.
Detection means the app sees the qualifying charge post and marks the credit used. That requires read-only access to your card transactions, in practice through Plaid. There is no way around this: an app with no transaction data cannot know what you spent, and any claim otherwise is a reminder wearing a costume.
That's the axis this ranking uses.
1. OfferBee: automatic detection on both platforms
How it tracks. Plaid transaction sync. When a charge that satisfies a credit posts, the credit is marked used for that period. Reminders fire before a credit resets, not after. At each annual renewal it produces a fee-vs-value verdict from what you actually captured that year, the number that should drive keep-or-cancel.
Cycles. Monthly, quarterly, semi-annual and annual credits, including anniversary-based cycles that don't align to the calendar year, with a year-by-year history and the ability to backfill a past period you forgot to log.
Platforms. iOS and Android. This is the practical differentiator: CardStack is iOS-only and WalletFlo is iOS-only, so on Android the field collapses to this and MaxRewards' partial coverage.
Price. $9.99/mo or $80/yr on offerbee.ai, the lowest annual price of any app here with automatic detection. Through the App Store it is $12.99/mo or $104.99/yr, which is above CardStack; the app shows both rails side by side and marks the cheaper one, so the $80 is available to every reader on either platform. 14-day trial, no card required. After the trial, manual credit tracking on the cards already in your wallet stays free permanently: log a credit used, clear a period, backfill a past month, snooze. Adding a new card needs Pro.
Also. Location-based best-card picks in the mobile app, and Bee, an assistant that answers questions about your own wallet and spending.
Doesn't do. No browser extension and no bulk issuer-offer activation. CardPointers and MaxRewards both beat us there outright. No sign-up bonus or 5/24 tracking (WalletFlo and Travel Freely own that). No loyalty program balances (AwardWallet). Youngest product here.
2. CardStack: the strongest iOS-only option
How it tracks. Plaid transaction sync in CardStack+, with well-timed notifications: credit available, expires in 3 days, credit auto-marked used from your statement, annual fee just posted. It also computes an effective annual fee (fee minus credits actually captured), presented more explicitly than any competitor.
Platforms. iOS, plus Safari and Chrome extensions that activate Amex and Chase offers. No Android, per their own comparison table.
Price. Free tier covers adding cards and manual tracking. CardStack+ is $12.99/mo or $89.99/yr after a 7-day trial.
Doesn't do. Android. Catalog is 100+ cards, so an uncommon co-brand may be missing.
3. WalletFlo: tracks credits, priced for churners
How it tracks. Plaid, with perks, credits and subscriptions tracked and annual-fee prompts that include retention scripts. Its real centre of gravity is sign-up bonus deadlines, which it does better than anything else here.
Price. The thing to know: free tier links one card; Pro is $100 the first year and $230/yr after. There's also a free year if you apply for an eligible premium card in the app and are approved. This is a disclosed referral arrangement and genuinely valuable if you were opening that card anyway.
Doesn't do. Android. And at $230/yr it's 2.9× OfferBee and 2.5× CardStack for a product whose credit tracking is not obviously ahead of either.
4. MaxRewards: great at offers, limited at credits
How it tracks. Limited. It does not automatically detect credit usage and does not compute an effective annual fee. Its strength is elsewhere: auto-activating Amex Offers, Chase Offers and Discover Deals, which it does better than anyone.
Platforms. iOS and Android.
Price. Free tier; Gold reported at $4.99/mo or $39.99/yr (third-party figure; their own pricing page 404s).
Verdict for this list. Buy it for offers, not for credits.
5. Pointer AI: the best free perks list
How it tracks. It doesn't, in the detection sense, and it's upfront about why. Pointer takes no bank connection at all; you add cards by name. What you get is a full perks tracker, free, with unlimited cards, and a flag on benefits that require activation.
Platforms. iOS; Android is a waitlist.
Price. Free; Premium $4.99/mo.
Verdict. The best option if you want a list of what your cards owe you and will do the ticking off yourself.
6. CardPointers: deliberately blind to your spending
How it tracks. It doesn't, by design. Its homepage advertises adding issuer offers "without sharing your logins or any purchase history." Without purchase history there is no detection. That's the cost of the privacy position, not an oversight.
Price. $90/yr; free tier limited to one card of each type.
Verdict. Excellent offer optimiser with location-aware best-card suggestions. On this page's axis, it scores zero, and it would tell you the same.
7. AwardWallet: a different ledger
Tracks loyalty balances, travel plans and points expiry across programs. Doesn't do best-card and doesn't track statement credits. It's a companion to something above, and the only app here that watches your airline miles for expiry.
8. Kudos: checkout only
A Chrome extension for best-card at online checkout, free. No mobile app, no in-store coverage, no credit tracking. Listed for completeness because it appears in every roundup in this category.
How to choose
- Do you actually need detection, or would a list do? If you're disciplined and hold one card, Pointer AI's free perks tracker or CardStack's free tier is enough. Don't pay for automation you'd shadow with a spreadsheet anyway.
- Count your annual fees. Two or more premium cards and the arithmetic is one-sided: any $80–$90/yr subscription here is a fraction of one missed annual credit.
- Check your platform first. On Android, CardStack, WalletFlo and Pointer AI are all out. That single fact decides more of these searches than any feature comparison.
- Don't buy a credit tracker for an offer problem. If your leak is unactivated issuer offers, MaxRewards or CardPointers is the right purchase and everything on this page is beside the point.
- Detection needs a bank connection. If you won't connect one, the honest answer is a perks list plus your own calendar. Pointer AI, free, is the best version of that.
Prices in the tables above are each app's cheapest available annual price. For OfferBee that is the offerbee.ai rail ($80/yr); the App Store rail is $104.99/yr and the app presents both.
Verified 2026-09-08 against each company's live site. MaxRewards and AwardWallet pricing could not be confirmed first-party. See each app's section. Re-checked quarterly.
